Middle School

From the Desk of Mr. Hopkins

Welcome back, students! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable snow break, and that you're feeling recharged and ready to dive into the final stretch of the school year. As we welcome back the warmer weather and spring activities, let's refocus on what’s ahead.

It’s hard to believe that the end of the year is rapidly approaching. Now, more than ever, it’s essential that we all stay on track with our assignments, complete any missed work, and maintain excellent attendance. The MAP testing will be here before we know it, and the effort we put in now will set us up for success when the time comes. Let’s finish strong!

We’re also incredibly excited to cheer on our Junior High volleyball team, who kicked off their season this week. Their hard work and dedication have already been impressive, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve in the coming weeks. Make sure to wear your school spirit and get ready to make some noise!  To show our support, we held a pep rally during Advisory on Thursday to cheer them on.

Spring sports are just around the corner, with practices beginning on Monday March 3rd for Track and Monday March 10th for Baseball. If you're planning to participate in any of our spring sports, please be sure to have an up-to-date physical form and all required annual paperwork on file with the school. It’s important to get this done before the first practice to ensure you can hit the ground running!

As we look forward to the fourth quarter, remember that there’s still so much learning and growing to be done. Some of the most significant progress in the classroom happens during these final months, and I am confident that our students will continue to rise to the challenge. Our dedicated teachers are working hard to prepare everyone for success, and I’m excited to see just how far each of you can go!

Let’s finish the year strong together!
